🎖️ Weymouth is gearing up for one of the biggest events of the year, as the annual Armed Forces Weekend celebrations take place from Friday 19th - Monday 22nd June, and with a packed programme this weekend is one not to be missed!

- Events start on Friday 19th June, with the return of the Armour and Embarkation convoy and a display of military vehicles on the prom from 7pm to 9pm
- On Saturday 20th June, there will be a display of historic military vehicles and entertainment from live local acts by the Jubilee Clock
- On Sunday 21st June, the Armed Forces service and parade will take place along the seafront from 11am, with marching band performances and historic vehicle display throughout the afternoon by Weymouth Pavilion

The Armed Forces Flag will be raised outside The New Town Hall on Monday 22nd June

⛵ The beautiful boats of Weymouth Harbour. From fishing boats and yachts to the famous Ernest and Mabel Lifeboat, the traditional, working harbour is home to lots of nautical activity - perfect for a photo op!

🌼 🌺 When was the last time you visited Greenhill Gardens? Situated at the edge of the town centre, sloping up from the beach and promenade, the gardens provide some of the best views across Weymouth Bay. From brightly coloured borders and winding paths, the floral clock and wishing well, this much-loved greenspace is true delight to discover, and the perfect place to sit back and relax.

🎵 Did you know that throughout June, July and August, the gardens come alive with live music every Sunday from 2pm - 4pm in June, July and August? Each week, different artists take to the bandstand to perform, so if you are visiting Weymouth this summer, this could be something to put on your to-do list! 🌦️ 😎 After the rain comes the sun! We might have had a bit of a damp start to the afternoon, but it didn't last long and Weymouth was soon basking in the June sunshine once again - perfect for people to get out and about, to take in the sights and breathe in that fresh sea air.
