Tonight is my last Council Meeting for Weymouth Town Council.

I will be a Councillor until the 2nd of May when you will hopefully have a whole new bunch of experienced and fresh Councillors to represent.

I have been a Councillor for 8 years. In those 8 years I’ve experienced all sorts. Campaigned, protested, fundraised, supported, advocated, kept some things confidential, met such a wide range and variety of people, met a whole range of organisations and businesses. I’ve also dealt with trolling, smear campaigns, stalking and in general people who have zero respect for boundaries. There have most definetly been ups and downs. The wonderful experiences are the things I’ll hold on to.

I don’t regret a single moment of being a Councillor. But I know other things take priority for me now and I cannot give my best in this role. Hence I won’t be standing in the forthcoming elections.

Of all the things I’ve done. The one picture I like the most is of Cllr Ray Nowak and Dexter.
