🚧 Big things are happening behind the doors of the Jackson Shed.

Sorry - the Jackson Shed is now closed for three weeks as we put the finishing touches to an exciting new exhibition - opening on 27 June.

When the doors reopen, you’ll discover iconic cars, incredible stories and a brand-new exhibition celebrating 100 years since Britain’s first Grand Prix at Brooklands.

I A new exhibition is significant enough, however it’s all part of something BIG coming to Brooklands Museum this summer…! ☀️

Trust us - it’ll be worth the wait. 🏁😎👌🏻

You’ll be pleased to know there’s still so much to enjoy and experience at Brooklands Museum until then!! 🤩

Something Feel Good for a Friday afternoon 😎

There’s something so special about seeing aircraft landing at Brooklands Museum.

It’s Father’s Day in a couple of weeks time…could this be the perfect gift experience?

Give Dad something a little different this year with a day spent getting up close to incredible aircraft at Brooklands Museum.

Our Fly-Ins* offer a rare opportunity to watch aircraft arrive throughout the morning before stepping onto the airstrip to see them up close, chat to pilots and capture some fantastic photographs. It’s a chance to experience continued living aviation history at the home of Concorde.

Upcoming Fly-Ins:
🛩️Saturday 27 June - Fixed-Wing Fly-In
✈️ Wednesday 29 July - Fixed-Wing Fly-In
🚁 Thursday 20 August - Helicopter Fly-In

Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, a keen photographer or simply looking for a memorable day out together, there’s nothing quite like seeing these aircraft up close and personal. ✈️

*Fly-Ins included in Brooklands Museum ticket on the day 🤩👌🏻

Tag someone who’d love this Father’s Day gift. 👇

🏳️‍🌈 It takes courage to break records. It takes even more courage to be yourself.

Joe Carstairs did both.

A record-breaking powerboat racer, adventurer and trailblazer of the 1920s, Joe refused to let society define who she should be or how she should live. At a time when standing out came with real risks, she chose authenticity, independence and a life lived entirely on her own terms.

She wasn't alone in pushing boundaries. Joe became a friend and supporter of Sir Malcolm Campbell, helping to fund his Blue Bird record-breaking ambitions as a generation of pioneers chased speed, innovation and the impossible.

Their world was one of courage, determination and daring to be different.

That's why Joe's story belongs at Brooklands.

This Pride Month, we're celebrating the real heroes whose lives helped shape the world around us. Not just because of what they achieved, but because of who they were. People who challenged expectations, broke down barriers and had the courage to live authentically when it would have been easier not to.

When you visit Brooklands Museum, you'll discover stories of extraordinary people like Joe alongside the iconic cars, aircraft and machines they helped inspire. Stories of speed, flight and innovation - but also stories of resilience, identity and belonging.
