Hey peeps,

Why you should vote for me, if I get selected, instead of John Penrose. (There is no other alternative in this town unfortunately). Please don’t kid yourself other parties.

Reason #1

During COVID I ran the largest response group in North Somerset with over 400 volunteers and 6 agencies involved including the town council, ROC and The For All Healthy Living Centre. We helped over 4000 people get shopping and prescriptions amongst other things. We helped people build connections and some still meet up today and continue to help each other.

On the other hand John Penrose was anti-corruption champion during party gate and the PPE scandal and most of Boris Johnson’s reign as PM.

I hope I can give you a reason to get out there and vote. I know a lot of people are disillusioned with politics right now, but this is your chance to have a proper working class, family man representing you against the corruption and anti-democracy that is our current state of politics.

Weston Town Council has been appointed by the 'Health foundation' to undertake a research project to understand challenges in food security in the areas of Weston Central and South Ward.

The research includes cost of living crisis, ease of getting your food shop, and overall shopping habits.
