A revised notice for Banwell Road due to the change in diversion route

🚧 Road Closure – Banwell Road, Hutton

Please be aware that Banwell Road will be temporarily closed to vehicles and cyclists from 19 September 2026 to allow North Somerset Council to carry out carriageway patching.

📍 The closure will be from the junction with Hill End to just past No. 24 Elborough Gardens.

⏰ Works are expected to take 1 working day, between 8am and 3pm. The closure may not be required for the full 5-day period.

🔄 Diversion: Banwell Road → The Bury → Elm Tree Road → Locking Moor Road → Apprentice Way → Old Banwell Road and vice versa.

Please allow extra time for your journey and plan an alternative route where necessary.

🕚 11:00–12:00 – 1 volunteer

🕑 14:00–15:00 – 2 volunteers
🕒 15:00–16:00 – 1 volunteer

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE – HUTTON HILL 🚧

Please be aware that Hutton Hill, Hutton, outside Greystones, No. 22, will be temporarily closed to vehicles from 9:30am on Tuesday 25th August 2026.

The closure is expected to last around 3 days, although the official notice allows for a longer period if required to complete the works.

Please allow extra time for your journey and use an alternative route where possible.
