We are really looking forward to our Reception and Year 1 Sports Day, which is due to take place on Wednesday 17th June.

As always, we will be closely monitoring the weather forecast over the coming days. If conditions appear unsafe for the children, we may need to postpone the event to our reserve date of Friday 19th June.

Due to how quickly the weather can change, this decision may need to be made at short notice. We kindly ask that families keep an eye on Ping and our page for the latest updates.

Another wonderful trip for Y6 which took place last week!
A fabulous workshop at the Front Room Theatre, the children created a play and loved having an input to how it "played out"! A thoroughly enjoyable time was had by all!

Year 6 have been focusing on the Artist David Shillinglaw, they created a "My thoughts and Feelings" Mural based on the artist followed by designing and then creating clay heads....I am sure you will think these are as amazing as we do! Well done Y6

Exciting news has arrived at Ashcombe Primary School as not one, but two brand-new adventure playgrounds have opened for everyone to enjoy!

The playgrounds were revealed at the end of last term, and the whole school has been talking about them ever since. As soon as everyone saw them, there were lots of smiles, cheers and excited faces everywhere.

The new areas include climbing frames, balancing equipment and spaces where children can explore and imagine their own adventures.

What a fabulous time Y3 had at Weston Museum last week! They enjoyed all that the museum has to offer including a workshop focusing on ‘Stone Age to Bronze Age’ which they will be learning all about during the summer term.
We would like to thank the AFA for covering the cost of this trip!
