The July energy Price Cap is going up again, which means waiting until autumn to think about bills probably isn’t the move.
A lot of people assume summer is the “cheap” season for energy, but suppliers price ahead. The smart time to look at fixing is often before everyone starts panicking.
Worth checking what you’re currently paying, especially if:
your fix is ending
you’re on variable
your broadband/mobile contracts are creeping up too
I can usually tell pretty quickly whether it’s worth changing or not.
(No hard sell. I’d rather tell someone to stay put than switch badly.)
