As we approach the anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, we reflect with respect on the lives lost and the lasting responsibility the industry carries to ensure lessons are never forgotten.
Since the publication of the Hackitt Review, the construction sector has undergone a fundamental shift — placing far greater emphasis on transparency, competence and evidence-based decision making.
To play our part as a manufacturer of fire-safety-critical products, we have invested in our marketing communications to ensure our product information is clear and honest. Our CCPI-assessed status for FAS Fire Door Foam™, Intumescent Acrylic Sealant, and Silicone Sealant reflects this commitment.
But compliance on paper is only part of the picture.
We also recognise that safe outcomes depend on people as much as products. That’s why we continue to develop CPD-accredited learning for specifiers, hands-on training for installers, and practical site support through toolbox talks — ensuring products are not only specified correctly but also installed correctly.
For us, this is not about reacting to change — it is about embedding continuous improvement into how we operate every day.
The direction of travel for the industry is clear: stronger evidence, better training, and greater accountability at every stage of the process.
And we are committed to playing our part in that journey.
