After you have watched the parade this afternoon, why not come down to the Gala Field (football pitches by the Swimming Pool) where we will have Axe Throwing, free for you to try out!
You can find us on the main football pitch, up the far end...look for the purple Wem Scout flag and the flying axes 😜

Carnival tomorrow!

Look out for us tomorrow as we join forces with 1st Wem Brownies with our very own float in the Carnival...we will have around 50 young people taking part in the afternoon and evening parades, very exciting! Its going to be wild 😜

Then look out for us on the Gala Field in the afternoon, where you will be able to try your hand at Axe Throwing (hopefully not too close to the inflatables 🤣)!

Week by week, our volunteers empower young people to try new things, make new friends and stand on their own two feet.

You don’t need to be Bear Grylls to join us. You don’t need to have been a Scout when you were younger. You don’t even need to know how to put up a tent.

Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and we promise you’ll get more out than you put in.

We provide the training. You show up, get stuck in, and make new memories for life. Sounds fun? Worthwhile? It is.
