We have raised more than £170,000 for local and Lions Charities, and have organised some of the city’s best-loved events including the annual May Fair activities in the market square and the Moat Boat Race at the Bishop’s Palace in August. We are a lively club, suited to all people of all ages. We have one business meeting a month, and usually one social event monthly too. That covers all our administration and club equipment, which means that every penny we raise from the public goes to charity. We are a part of Lions Clubs International, founded in 1917, the world’s largest voluntary service organisation with 1.3 million members in 200 countries.
