With the Summer holidays now coming to an end we would like to say a very big thank you to all our customers that have made it such a busy and successful one! Congratulations to all those that have taken part in the Summer Reading Challenge which, if you haven't quite completed yet, will run for one more week and finish on Saturday 12th September. We have lots of events and ideas for the coming weeks and months ahead so keep an eye on our notice board and Facebook posts. Finally, remember to ask for a stamp on your loyalty card when you next call in and we'll look forward to seeing you soon! 😃

🎆 6 stickers (one for each book read)?
🏆A medal and certificate (after 6 books)?

If not, fill out your booklet (so we can see which great books you’ve been reading) and pop in by the end of the 12th!

🌳What a wonderful afternoon we had last week on our Story Walk and Treasure Hunt with Ali from Everyone Active! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success. A special shout-out to our fantastic volunteer Jo and the brilliant Ali for leading the activities.

This event marks the beginning of our Health and Literacy Project, with lots more exciting activities to come. Watch this space for future events and remember to bring along your loyalty card for a stamp each time you attend! 🤩

🍃🌿What a fantastic morning we had on our story walk at the Basins. Emma, Nell and the gang explored the area, recording their thoughts and ideas as they walked. Once back at 'basecamp', the children created some lovely artwork and stories inspired by their adventure. Huge thanks to everyone who came along, Emma Bettridge for running the event and to Wellington Town Council for making activities like this possible through their funding and ongoing support. 🐕🌳
Don't forget to get your loyalty card stamped or pick one up from the library if you havent already got one.

Just a quick reminder that the library will be closed this coming Monday for the bank holiday. We will be open as usual for the rest of the week with, as always, lots going on and we'll look forward to seeing you soon! 😃
