This achievement reflects the exceptional quality of care our committed team delivers every day. From building “trusting relationships”, to “empowering” our young people so “their voices are heard and acted on”, providing support that helps them “express their emotions” and “sustain positive mental health”, this is what truly matters.

Our young people are not only supported, but encouraged to grow in confidence, develop life skills and feel happy, safe and heard. 💛

Today is National Child Exploitation Awareness day. Each year at CSfC we spread awareness and encourage speaking up. Adults and YP have created a poster together in support of the Stop CSE campaign.

❤️💚❤️🧑‍🎄🎅 Elf walk was a jingly jangly success this morning! Despite the frosty conditions our festive elves walked, some ran, but mostly walked 5k all in aid of Mind Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind
Juno our sweet fluffball therapy dog even managed to win best dressed pup!

A huge thank you to everyone who gave team elf a sponsor.

One of our homes has been busy this month - with their mission to walk 100 miles in November, to support Mental Health Foundation

November might not yet be over but the young people and their grown ups have absolutely smashed it - collecting well over 100 miles already and raising £105 of their £150 target.

There is still time to show your support, with a sponsor or a share - no matter how small, all support helps this amazing charity in their work to support mental health matters.

🤍❤️🤍 White Ribbon Day 2025 🤍❤️🤍

Letting sexism slide puts women and girls at risk. Sexist jokes, catcalling, staring, and comments might seem harmless, but they are serious because they can lead to violence and abuse.

This White Ribbon Day, we want more men to use their voices and speak up to create a world where everyone is safe, equal and respected.

Every time we ignore something that doesn’t feel right, we miss a chance to set a better example.

Here at CSfC we pledge to speak up when something doesn't feel right as we believe in the need to take a stand against harmful behaviour.

🎃 Halloween Recap! 🎃

Our young people had a fantastic time celebrating Halloween this year! 👻

One of our amazing young people hosted a brilliant Halloween party — complete with creative makeup, fun costumes, delicious food, games, and plenty of laughter. Not to mention some extra-special cuddles from our therapeutic rabbit, Sage 🐰💛

Over at The Lodge, there was pumpkin carving and cosy autumn vibes with Oscar the cat 🐈‍⬛🍂

Occupational Therapists are true everyday heroes, guiding others to rebuild independence, overcome challenges, and shine in their own way. 💚

Today, we’re celebrating our amazing OT, Mary, whose compassion and creativity help our young people develop confidence, life skills, and emotional well-being every day.

As highlighted by Ofsted:

“Exceptionally strong links with emotional well-being services alongside the support from the organisation’s psychotherapist and recently appointed occupational therapist, mean that children have the support and guidance that they need, leading to a reduction in incidents of self-harm. Additionally, staff gain skills to develop their already highly therapeutic and sensitive approach to care.”

We’re so proud to have Mary as part of our team and grateful for the difference she makes every single day. 🌱

We had a great time connecting with some amazing individuals who are passionate about making a difference! at Reading University careers fair.

We had so many inspiring conversations and are always excited to meet individuals who share our therapeutic values, empathy and dedication.

A big thank you to Reading University for hosting such a great event, and to all the students who stopped by to learn more about the rewarding career paths we offer! 🌱

This October, our amazing registered manager Polya, alongside Joleen’s family — our incredible group of young people and adults — are taking on a powerful challenge — completing 100 skips a day to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Together, they’re pushing themselves to make a real difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help Macmillan continue to do whatever it takes to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.
