Today we have become Chime Housing! 🎉

It’s an exciting new chapter – Thrive Homes and Watford Community Housing have officially come together as one organisation: Chime Housing.

What does this mean for our existing residents?

You don’t need to do anything. Your tenancy rights, terms and conditions stay the same. You can continue to contact us in all the usual ways – our phone numbers and email addresses haven’t changed.

Over the next 18–24 months, we’ll gradually bring our services together. You will continue to see our previous branding for a while as we update things in a cost‑effective way.

A few weeks ago we went door-to-door saying hello to lots of our new residents who came over to us from Notting Hill Genesis.

📞 We asked for up-to-date contact details so we can tailor our services to meet their needs
🙋‍♀️We let them know how to contact their housing officer
📱We suggested they sign up for a free online account – the fastest way to raise repairs!
🏠We encouraged them to sign up to become a member – giving them exclusive savings and voting rights

🌳Yesterday our Estates team, along with members of Accuro, gave Yeatman Court some TLC. 🌳

They planted new silver birch trees, added grass to the raised beds and a vast amount of mulch was spread throughout the site to improve the look and suppress the weeds.

We also had a skip on site for residents to get rid of any unwanted large items.

Our Love your Neighbourhood campaign is all about working together to look after our environment and build pride in where we live. Keep an eye out for the next project you can get involved in👀

We’re hosting two dedicated question time sessions this week for our leaseholders and shared owners to learn more about our services, and talk to us about any concerns or queries you may have.

🏠Shared owners – Tuesday 19 May from 6.30pm to 8pm
🏡Leaseholders – Thursday 21 May 2026 from 6.30pm to 8pm

We’re thrilled to announce our new name: Chime Housing 🎉

After months of research, resident feedback and consultation, Chime Housing will become the new identity for our merged organisation from 1 June 2026.

For residents, nothing changes about your tenancy or how you contact us. We’ll be bringing our services together over the next 18–24 months and rolling out our new branding step by step.
