Hi all, just look at how the poly tunnel is now. Full of ripening produce and I caught a couple of characters carousing amongst the foliage. It does my heart good to see a project working. Thanks to everyone who helped get this idea off the ground.
The next job is to turn the front of the plot into a community garden, with wheelchair height raised beds, a seating area, sensory garden and hopefully a BBQ area with seating. This will be subject to approval from WBC and Veolia and our ability to get a grant for the work.

Hi all, I’ve had a message from a member with a reminder that this is the time of year when TICS are very active. It looks like our part of England is a high risk area.
Long grass is a favourite of theirs. So when walking with or without the dog, please take care. Viles disease can be a serious threat to health.
Check your clothes and yourself and check your pets. There’s plenty of info on line, at the vets and probably your doctors surgary.
