North Watford Library The library for North Watford Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website.

We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Those who visit the library are able to do this in person. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you don

ate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

Did you know the library service has a fantastic selection of Barrington Stoke books? These are dyslexia-friendly books, designed by experts to aid reading comprehension. Printed on off-white paper, with a uniquely designed font, this is an accessible option that removes the barriers to reading.

They are available in the children's and young adults' sections of the library.

6 – 14 June is the Great Big Green Week, an opportunity for communities across the UK come together to celebrate looking after our planet and discovering simple ways to make a greener future. It’s a lovely time to explore nature, learn about reducing waste, and feel hopeful about caring for the world around us.

We have put together a selection of board and picture books which are perfect to share with young children, helping them build awareness of, and respect for, their environment in a fun and positive way: https://tinyurl.com/3rh8ed5n
