Tomorrow, 5 September, marks the International Day of Charity.

As a business, we support Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, a cause close to many of our team members' hearts. Since the start of our support our colleagues have taken on a 15,000ft skydive, two marathons and a 100m abseil down the Spinnaker Tower.

Together, we have raised over ยฃ17,000 so far, with more challenges to come.

Portsmouth Hospitals Charity supports patients, their families, and the staff who care for them. Donations fund better facilities, new equipment, and research that improves patient care and staff wellbeing.

Last week Michelle Agius presented a surprise recognition award at Eurotech Fire Systems, for an initiative that made a real difference beyond the usual nomination process.

Nic Wilson-deRoze was chosen for a bright initiative that has changed the face of Eurotech. Through a continuous run of industry awards, and now finalists in national business awards, Eurotech is recognised at national level across the industry.

Last week we recognised two colleagues at Eurotech Fire Systems for an outstanding year of individual sales achievement.

James Aherne and Robert Quinn each achieved sales in excess of their target in the 2025/26 financial year.
