NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR
Parish of Water Orton

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

that due to the resignation of Felicitas Freeman and Kay Hailstone, vacancies have arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Parish Council.

If by 16 August, 2023 (14 days excluding Dies Non, after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancies is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors for the said Parish, an election will be held to fill the said vacancies, otherwise the vacancies will be filled by co-option.

If an election is called, it will take place not later than 19 October 2023.

The King’s Wardrobe Colouring Competition

Why not make the most of the sunshine and get out and explore Water Orton! 🌞

Take part in our free, story trail around Water Orton. This May, visit all of the King’s friends in your area and see what they suggest he wear for his coronation (spoiler alert, they are not all very sensible), complete mini-challenges, try on the items yourselves and take selfies with them on. When you’ve met all 10, you can see the fully prepared King in augmented reality and download a free children’s book of the story’s conclusion.
