Happy ! We love our four-legged friends and all the joy they bring to our lives. But we also know that any dog can bite if they feel they have no other option.

That’s why it’s so important to learn what you can do as a family to keep everyone safe and happy together.

Do you have a child in nursery or one about to start?

Illnesses like measles and whooping cough can be serious. Vaccinating your child can help protect them. To check if your child has missed any vaccines, look in their red book or contact your GP practice.

🚨 Did you know, as part of safer eating practices in nurseries, settings will need at least one paediatric first aid (PFA) trained member of staff at all times present when children are eating?

Millie's Mark accreditation will be awarded as a special endorsement to childcare providers that go above and beyond these minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid, and also ensuring that everything learned during the course is kept alive and in the forefront of practitioners’ minds so that they are confident, ready and capable.

You can find out more about Millie's Mark and how to apply for accreditation here: https://www.milliesmark.com/
