We have some lovely events coming up over next few weeks in the village.
Supporting some Great Charities doing plenty to help our local community.

This coming Saturday is The Windmill Run

On Saturday, 6th June, the Tysoe Windmill Run will take place.

The Tysoe Children's Group will be supporting the event by serving refreshments and cakes from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

This event is always very popular, any donations of cakes would be greatly appreciated- Please deliver Friday 5th June

These flowers were off to Chelsea for a lovely lady who was visiting Chelsea Flower Show today.

These wrist corsages are very much going back to traditional methods taught to me, many years ago with wiring flowers into a corsage.Mounting it on a pearl wrist bracelet set the piece off to match the outfit and the necklace of pearls.


This where,I am able to work between the two very different styles of that of being able to use traditional mechanics of florist or of a more relaxed and natural style.

For buttonholes or corsages we can offer both or even for lighter clothing a wrist corsage.

There are some flowers that carry us straight back to childhood.

For me, Lily of the Valley will always bring memories of my grandad’s garden — delicate little white bells tucked beneath the leaves, their beautiful scent filling the air.My Mother took these from her Fathers garden and created her own cutting patch, each May she would cut in the early morning and bring small bunches these fragrant bells, where customers would delight in buying a small bunch.

This week, those same nostalgic blooms have arrived in the shop, and every stem takes me back.

Their fragrance is simply unmistakable — fresh, sweet, and full of old-fashioned charm.

Available for a limited time only while the season lasts.

Don’t let others define what you can or can’t do. I’ve spent 64 years proving myself, and it’s amazing what you can achieve with hard work and determination. As a florist and Post Office owner, I’ve learned to value my skills and those of others. Let’s stop doubting ourselves and start celebrating our accomplishments. We each have something unique to offer. It’s time to stand up, be counted, and support one another in our pursuits.
