It was a real honour to attend the opening of the Veterans Contact Point and The Queen's Royal Hussars Museum .

A wonderful occasion celebrating the history, service and sacrifice of our veterans, while also recognising the important support available to those who have served our country.

It was fantastic to see so many people come together to preserve these important stories and memories for future generations.

A wonderful and historic occasion at the Chapel of St. James. Warwick was celebrating an important tradition that has been part of our town’s heritage for generations.

Congratulations to Dr Bowyer, and my very best wishes for our new Master. It was a privilege to be there and represent Warwick on such a special occasion 🏛️👏

What an amazing and enjoyable morning celebrating Guy of Warwick at Guy’s Cliffe.

It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to celebrate this important part of Warwick’s heritage and the fascinating legend of Guy of Warwick.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped organise and put on such a fantastic morning. Your hard work, enthusiasm and passion for our town’s history made it a really special occasion.

📚 Celebrating a Love of Reading! 📚

I had the pleasure of attending the Summer Reading Challenge at Shire Hall alongside Cllr John Holland.

It was wonderful to celebrate the achievements of local children who have successfully completed this year’s challenge. The Summer Reading Challenge is a fantastic national initiative that encourages children to read for pleasure while helping to maintain and develop their literacy skills throughout the summer holidays.

It was lovely to see so many young readers proudly receiving their medals and certificates, and to hear about the books and stories they have enjoyed along the way.

A huge congratulations to all the children who took part — your enthusiasm for reading was fantastic to see! 📖👏

A big thank you also to everyone involved in organising and supporting the challenge and helping to inspire the next generation of readers. 🌟

On Saturday I had the pleasure of welcoming children, parents and grandparents to the The Ballroom at the Courthouse to read two stories to celebrate the close of our Story Seeds Literacy Festival.

Over the course of the summer holidays, local children were invited to cast their votes to choose a story for me to read at our Storytime.

The winner was ‘Is This A Plum' by Dan & Finn Ojari and the other story was ' The Cat in the Hat'

It was a special moment bringing community together and filled with laughter, wiggles and joy. I’m pretty certain none of us will look at a plum in the same way!!

🎤🌟 What a fantastic evening at Ronnie’s Got Talent! 🌟🎤

It was a great pleasure to attend and have the honour of presenting the winners and all the fantastic participants with their prizes.

There was some amazing talent on display, and it was wonderful to see so many people getting involved, supporting each other and enjoying the evening.

It was also fantastic to see the Warwickshire Air Ambulance receiving so much support throughout the evening for such an incredible cause.

A huge well done to everyone who took part—you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves! 👏🏆

🌺 Warwick Horticultural Show 🌺

I had the absolute honour of presenting all the prizes at this year’s Warwick Horticultural Show, and what a fantastic show it was! 🏆🌿

There was an amazing display of wonderful vegetables, fruit, flowers and, of course, some fantastic cakes! 🍰🥕🍎🌸

It’s been a particularly tough summer for growing, with the hot weather presenting plenty of challenges, but the exhibitors still came forward with an incredible display of produce and talent.

A huge thank you to the Warwick Horticultural Society for inviting me and allowing me to be part of such a wonderful community event.

And finally, a massive thank you to all the volunteers who work so hard behind the scenes to make the show happen. Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without you. 👏

We’re delighted to announce that this year we have teamed up with Warwickshire Air Ambulance Service for our Christmas in Warwick fundraising event! 🚑🎅

And we’re planning to make 2026 bigger and better than ever before! 🎄✨

There will be lots happening throughout Warwick Town Centre, including:

🎅 Santa’s Grotto at The Court House
🎄 Christmas stalls, crafts & refreshments
🎟️ Christmas tombolas with fantastic prizes
🎲 Children’s games & activities
🚑 Photo opportunities with the Air Ambulance Critical Care Car & Elf
🫏 Meet the donkeys at Warwick Market
🐴 Horse-drawn carriage trips between The Court House & Market Place
…and lots more festive fun!

❤️ MOST IMPORTANTLY, THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT!

All money raised throughout the day will be split equally between Warwick’s Christmas Lights and Warwickshire Air Ambulance.

🎟️ The event is completely FREE to attend, so bring along your friends and family, enjoy the festive fun and help us raise as much money as possible for two fantastic causes.

🍻 What a fantastic day for Warwick! 🍻

I was immensely proud to officially open the first Warwick Pub Fest, celebrating and supporting our fantastic local pubs while also raising valuable funds and awareness for the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, which is my main chosen charity during my mayoral year.

I’m particularly pleased that every ticket purchased includes a donation to the Trust, helping support the important work they do around prostate cancer awareness and early detection.

A huge thank you to Tim Mccabee and all the stakeholders, organisers, pubs, volunteers and everyone involved in putting this brilliant event together.

It was fantastic to see so many people coming together, enjoying themselves and supporting our local pubs and a very worthwhile charity. 🍻💙
