Recently I attended the launch of the Greville Family of Warwick Castle archive catalogue in the Great Hall at Warwick Castle.
An incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication, expertise, and hard work of everyone involved in bringing this remarkable collection together.
It was a privilege to celebrate such an important contribution to preserving and sharing our heritage.

🎻🎶 Inspiring the next generation of musicians! 🎶🎻

The Warwickshire Music Hub continues to make music accessible, engaging, and enriching for young people across the county. Through high-quality tuition, ensembles, workshops, and performance opportunities, the Hub helps children and young people develop their musical skills, confidence, creativity, and passion for music.

A special recognition goes to the Suzuki violin team, whose talented young musicians and dedicated teachers showcase the beauty and discipline of violin playing through the renowned Suzuki Method. By developing strong listening skills, technique, confidence, and musical expression from an early age, the team inspires children to reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of music.

Whether learning an instrument for the first time, joining an orchestra, singing in a choir, or performing as part of the Suzuki violin programme, students are given opportunities to grow, perform, and connect with others through the power of music.

A huge thank you to the dedicated teachers, the Suzuki violin team, partner schools, families, and supporters who help make these opportunities possible. Together, we’re creating a vibrant musical community where every young person can discover their potential and enjoy the lifelong benefits of music.

On Friday we celebrated the incredible volunteers of Warwick Vision whose dedication, compassion, and commitment make a real difference in the lives of others. The time, energy, and willingness to serve help create a more inclusive, supportive, and empowering community.

Thank you for your hard work, kindness, and the positive impact you make every day. Warwick Vision would not be the same without your enthusiasm and generosity. We are deeply grateful for everything you do and proud to have such inspiring volunteers at the heart of our organisation.

Excited to to have been invited by the Mayor of Kenilworth to attend the upcoming Kenilworth Revealed event — a fantastic celebration of local history, heritage and community.

The event will feature four unique experiences:

• Guided tours exploring the 5 quests within the Kenilworth Revealed App
• Six interactive activities across the site where visitors can collect stickers
• The Abbey Museum open with volunteers sharing insights into the Abbey’s history
• Talks hosted at St Nicholas Church

There will also be plenty of hands-on activities in Abbey Fields, including:

⚜️ Scribing like the Canons of the 1500s
🐴 Free horse and cart rides
🩺 Discovering how leeches were used in Tudor medicine
🎲 Playing games from the 1500s
🎶 Have-a-go chanting sessions
👗 Trying on historical clothing from the 1500s

A brilliant opportunity for families, history lovers and the local community to step back in time and experience Kenilworth’s rich heritage.

A fantastic day in Warwick and an honour to be one of the judges for Warwick Town Crier competition ☀️

📣 What A Fantastic Day At Warwick Town Criers Competition! 📣

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported yesterday’s Warwick Town Criers Competition 📢

The day began with a wonderful horse led procession into Market Square, followed by official photographs at The Lord Leycester, before crowds gathered in Pageant Gardens for the main competition at 2pm ☀️

Congratulations to Kevin Ward from Bromsgrove who was crowned this year’s winner and took home the trophy 🏆

A special well done also goes to our three Junior Criers finalists who all did an amazing job. Congratulations to Jessica from Coten End, who was crowned our Junior Crier 👏

Thank you to everyone who supported the event throughout the day. The sunshine stayed with us and the atmosphere and crowd support were incredible from start to finish ☀️

Special thanks to People Arches Limited (McDonald's Warwick) and Teepees of Warwick for sponsoring the competition, and to all of the staff, volunteers and organisers who helped make the day such a success 🙌

Warwick is very proud, and we are honoured to host such a wonderful tradition ❤️
