Important announcement: The Early Help Assessment is changing from September 2026 - Join this Briefing to find out more.

Warrington is a pathfinder for the Families First for Children reforms, which are leading to changes across children’s social care and early help in how we support families and manage risk.

Part of the changes includes introducing:

A Think Family Assessment: A single assessment across children’s services and our partner agencies.
Family Network Meetings: Structured meetings to encourage families to gain support from their own family network.

The Early Help support team and your Partnership Link Worker can support you with ongoing guidance and training.

All Early Years providers should prioritise attendance at this briefing to understand the changes and their impact on the setting.
