Labour are hiking tax on your weekly shop.

Having promised to deliver lower bills for the high street and target the online giants, Kier Starmer has done the reverse and hiked taxes on places families rely on for their everyday shopping. Now Andy Burnham is set to double down on this.

Whoever leads Labour, they cannot be trusted with the economy.

Only the Conservatives will Get Britain Working Again.

Conservatives led the campaign to protect under-16s online while Labour delayed, dodged and launched a totally unnecessary consultation.

The King's Speech is the flagship announcement of the Government's programme. Yet within 24 hours, it has already unravelled. Even one of the Prime Minister's own Cabinet Ministers has slammed it, saying "where we need vision we have a vacuum".

Parliament is now stuck with this flawed legislative programme.

💷 No plan to make savings from welfare, putting benefits streets first

💂🏻No defence readiness plan to boost defence spending

📈 No plan to deregulate, just an absurd plan to 'Regulation for Growth'

🛢️ An 'emergency energy plan' which bans oil and gas during an energy crisis

🧑🏼‍🦽‍➡️A shameful plan to hound veterans

Last year, consumer bills went up sharply. When Labour MPs slam it, saying "where we need direction, we have drift", it is clear that this King's speech is a dud.

People in Warrington will pay the price in higher bills, higher tax, and higher job losses. That’s not the change anybody voted for.
