But it’s not really our story to tell, therefore we’ll defer to those (the cadets & adult volunteers of B Company) that reached out to the Corps of Royal Engineers to make this happen.

After spending the last 3 years with the Yorkshire Officer Training Regiment (Sheffield Hallam) while completing his History degree, he has officially stepped up to the big leagues. 📈

He's joining the pathway to become a Reserve Soldier and Combat Engineer with Troop of 350 Field Squadron in .

Whether you’ve just started your Higher Education or recently finished University, being a member of the Army Reserves is rewarding beyond pounds & pence.

Finished Uni & UOTC? 🎓 What’s next?

Your adventures don't have to end just because you graduated!

A HUGE welcome to Sapper Busby, who has just transferred as a Reserve Soldier to 75 Engineer Regiment after 4 years with Birmingham University Officer Training Corps (BUOTC) 👏

While balancing her Geology and Physical Geography studies, she also took full advantage of the demanding UOTC military syllabus.

She is stepping into her new unit with existing lifelong friendships, proven leadership skills, and impressive qualifications in:
🚣 Canoeing
⛵ Sailing
🏔️ Mountain Leading
💪 Leadership

Now bringing all of that experience to 350 Field Sqn in , and we know she’s going to be a massive asset to the team!

💷 Bonus perk: As a ‘Type A’ Army Reservist, she will also now be eligible for a larger tax-free annual bounty for her time.

Huge congratulations to Sapper Khan from 106 Field Squadron in ! This weekend, he did more than just participate in the European Uniformed Services Championship...

💪 He took home the Silver Medal in the Men’s -81kg category, representing both the British Army & 75 Engineer Regiment whilst wearing the GB flag 🇬🇧
