In 2009, Warrington Libraries successfully bid for and were awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund Community Libraries Programme so that we could build an amazing new library for the community of Orford, Warrington. We talked to the peopl

e of Orford and asked them exactly what they wanted in their new library - even down to the colour of the carpet - and then thanks to the Big Lottery Fund, we made it happen! Orford Park Library - previously on Poplars Avenue, Orford - was officially opened on 18 May 2012 by Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

Now the library is well established, this page is no longer being updated and maintained and will be merged into the main Warrington Libraries page. Information about Orford Park Library and events will be posted there.
