New 'Talking Point' at Westbrook Library!

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday 8th September, there will be free face-to-face advice available at a new 'Talking Point' at Westbrook Library.
A Talking Point has trained staff who can provide help and advice relating to a range of issues, and is able to provide connections to appropriate services and support.

No appointment needed, just drop in, Tuesdays 10am - Midday...

From today, 65 out of 73 state high schools in Cheshire have adopted or are in the process of adopting mobile phone pouches.

As Cheshire’s Police & Crime Commissioner, I secured the funding and made it happen in just under nine months. 🙌

It’s catch the bus month! 🚌

Most parts of the country lost their publicly owned buses to privatisation in the 1980s.

📍 Today, Warrington is just one of five councils in England with a publicly owned bus company. That’s thanks to decisions by successive Labour-led councils to keep it that way.

A film of the 'Heroes of the Wire' - Memorial Bike Ride at Cineworld, Thursday 20th August, 6.50pm....

Next Thursday, we’re bringing the story of the Heroes of the Wire Memorial Bike Ride to the big screen at Cineworld Warrington — and we’d love to see as many Wire fans there as possible.

As part of our 150th anniversary celebrations, our riders travelled more than 230 miles across France and Belgium, visiting the battlefields, memorials and cemeteries where Warrington players who made the ultimate sacrifice are remembered.

We captured the journey on film, bringing together the stories of our fallen players, the history of our club and the experiences of the people who made the journey.

Now, you can experience it for yourself.
