⚠️ Be Safe and Be Seen👀

As the days become shorter and the mornings and evenings darker, it's important to make sure children are clearly visible when travelling to and from school.

Choosing a bright or fluorescent school coat can help children stand out to drivers, especially in poor weather and low light conditions. Where school uniforms require darker outerwear, adding reflective strips, badges, or accessories can significantly improve visibility.

A few simple changes can make a big difference in helping children stay safe on their journeys. Encouraging them to wear bright colours, use reflective items, and remain alert around roads can help ensure they are seen by other road users when it matters most.

As children return to school, it's important to stay safe on their way in. ⚠️ One important message is about the use of e-scooters. and knowing that IT IS AGAINST THE LAW FOR ANYONE TO RIDE A PRIVATELY OWNED E-SCOOTER ON A PUBLIC ROAD, CYCLE PATH, FOOTPATH OR PAVEMENT!⚠️
