At the weekend, five female officer cadets from Wales UOTC attended Sandhurst for Ex Ridge Thread, a female development weekend.

The event consisted of multiple coaching, leadership and development lessons. Alongside incredibly informative and insightful talks. ‘We all gained a much greater understanding of life in the Army as a female.’

Hearing from many inspirational women about their experiences and journeys within the army was very beneficial. Learning about fitness, women’s health, and how the Army is supporting and progressing in these areas was hugely encouraging.
