CLERKS' OPEN DOOR SESSION

The Clerks will be available at Warboys Library on Tuesday, 5th May from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to meet with any village residents who wish to voice their concerns, ask questions, or simply stop by for a chat.

🌿 WE’RE HIRING: VILLAGE HANDYPERSON – WARBOYS 🌿
Warboys Parish Council

Part– Time - Salary: Scale 3:- £23,500 (pro-rata)

Joining Warboys Parish Council maintenance team, this key role to keep the village of Warboys looking presentable, assist in maintaining its assets, cutting back foliage and planting.

The handyperson role will be responsible for weekly bin collection, the village rights of way/footpaths, playparks, benches, allotments that are up for hire, road closures, and other green space areas that are Parish Council ownership.

If you, are flexible, customer friendly, and have a trade talent – this maybe you - we would welcome your application.

This is an exciting time to join the Warboys Parish Council team, as we open the new Community building.

Warboys Annual Parish Meeting – Tonight at Warboys Community Centre, High Street, PE28 2TA

Join us at 7pm in the Small Hall for the Warboys Annual Parish Meeting. All residents are warmly welcome to attend and hear about progress across the parish over the past year, as well as raise any questions or share your views.

Refreshments will be served after the meeting, and attendees are invited to take a look around the wonderful new hall facilities.

🔥 Support Available for Households Using Heating Oil

With heating oil prices remaining high and cooler nights still with us, financial support may be available for some households that rely on oil for heating and hot water.

💷 Grants of up to £400 are available for eligible low-income households receiving:
• Universal Credit
• Pension Credit
• ESA (Income-based Employment and Support Allowance)

To qualify, households must also have 150 litres of heating oil or less remaining.
