The library will be closed on Monday 4th May for the Bank Holiday. It will reopen again on Tuesday 5th.

The library is now open Wednesday mornings 10 till 12.

We are pleased to be opening up a new session from this Wednesday, which means the library is now open six days a week.

However, although we do have some lovely new volunteers we are struggling with our Tuesday afternoon session (2 pm to 4 pm) which is currently temporarily on hold.

If you can spare a couple of hours once or twice a week and would like to give back to your community, we are looking for new volunteers.

Are you a crafter or a storyteller who may be able to give that something extra?

Our lovely DofE volunteer has updated our display board this week with some articles and information on the Titanic.

Knowing some of the schools use it as part of their curriculum and with it's anniversary coming up in April, some of our visitors might find it interesting.

Although we don't seem to have many books in stock at the moment, others can be ordered and the jigsaws can be borrowed too :)
