💡Did You Know? Crime is falling in Walsall

Crime in Walsall has fallen over the past 12 months, with fewer incidents of shop theft, vehicle theft, assault with injury and harassment reported across the borough.

Between April 2025 and March 2026, overall crime reduced by 2.34% compared to the previous year. 📉

Creating safer communities helps people feel more confident, connected and supported – contributing to our We are Walsall 2040 ambition of Feeling Safe and ensuring residents can live in a borough where they are Thriving and Happy. 💚

We’re excited to share that Walsall’s popular Splash Pads at Walsall Arboretum and Willenhall Memorial Park are now open for summer 2026! 💦☀️

From Saturday 23 May until Sunday 30 August 2026, families can enjoy FREE water fun with fountains, water cannons and spray jets – perfect for cooling off in the warmer weather.

📍 Walsall Arboretum Splash Pad
📍 Willenhall Memorial Park Splash Pad

Opening times:
◼️ Weekends, bank holidays & school holidays: 11am – 5pm
◼️ Weekdays (outside school holidays): 11am – 3pm

Adult supervision is strongly recommended, particularly for younger children.

Please note: the splash pad at King George V Park will not reopen this year due to ongoing improvement works taking place at the park.

So grab a towel and head down for some family fun this summer! 🌊
