Before there was any mention of the terrible war going on against innocent people, the 54% rise in energy bills was in place to go ahead with a further 20% in October. National Insurance hike was in place, petrol prices were rocketing, food prices were rocketing, Council Tax bills were going up, all of these were already happening or about to be put in place.
Due to the conflict, yes it'll get worse now, but do not be fooled by the Conservative government blaming the war.
It was not the war.

Families are urged to meet the 31 October national deadline for secondary school places for entry to year 7 in September 2022.

Parents and carers are being urged to submit their applications for a secondary school place for entry into year 7, for their child before the national application deadline on 31 October 2021.

Children born between 1 September 2010 and 31 August 2011 are due to transfer to a secondary school (year 7) in September 2022.

Applicants can express preferences for up to five secondary schools, and the Walsall on-line application portal allows applications to be made for a place at any secondary school in or outside the borough.
