VOLUNTEER SESSION SUPPORT WORKER NEEDED

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join us at our new Neurohive Gaming Hangout at Cluntergate Centre in Horbury.

The Gaming Hangout is an extension of our Funtime Games project, bringing the same values of connection, inclusion, friendship and autonomy into a face-to-face space.

You don’t need to be a gaming expert – the gaming equipment is provided. What we really need are people who can help young people feel safe, welcome, included and comfortable being themselves.

You’ll help us:
⭐Support gaming and creative activities
⭐Chat, listen and build connections
⭐Create a calm, friendly environment
⭐Encourage friendships and participation – without pressure
⭐Support young people to enjoy the session in their own way

👉Cluntergate Centre, Horbury
👉Wednesdays, 3pm–5pm during term time
👉18+ | DBS check required
👉Training and support provided

♻️ Local volunteers making a difference in Normanton

Yesterday, we joined volunteers at Normanton Library for a community litter pick organised by Wakefield Libraries.

It was great to see so many people giving up an hour of their time to help tidy up the local area. Together, we collected over 10 bags of rubbish!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part. We'd love to see even more people getting involved in community activities like this. 💚
