The Wakefield Branch RAA regret to announce their annual Festival of St. Barabara which usually takes place on the last Saturday in November, will not be taking place this year.

Further to my earlier post re Philip Edward Stovold. Sue has confirmed Phil's funeral is to be held at 13:30 on 23 June 2022 at St. Joseph's Church, Queens Road BD21 1AT. The funeral is family flowers only but welcomes donations for SSAFA and Myeloma.

It is with sadness that we announce the passing to the great gun park in the sky of our President, Philip Edward Stovold on Saturday 21 May 2022. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences to Phil's family at this sad time.

Just to let you know, we will be commencing branch meetings again. The first meeting will be on Friday 1 April 2022 at 8:00 pm at Alverthorpe Working Men's Club. New members welcome. If you want any further details please contact me. Look forward to seeing everyone on 1 April.

Due to the ongoing increase of Omricon in the Yorkshire area, we will continue to suspend branch meetings until it is safe to recommence them. We hope you agree with this decision, as we are thinking of the health and safety of all our members and, as you will appreciate the room where we meet is small.
