Practice for Ye-Ha! is going really well, and everyone is working hard to make it a fantastic show 🎭. The cast and crew have been putting in lots of effort, and it’s all starting to come together.
A huge thank you to parents Jennie and Caitlyn for creating such a fantastic backdrop. Your hard work, creativity, and time have made a real difference, and it looks absolutely amazing. We can’t wait for everyone to see it!

🧪 We were very lucky to have Mr MacQueen and Mr Bacon from Newquay Tretherras visit us today to carry out some exciting science experiments with the children. They demonstrated the rainbow experiment 🌈, elephant toothpaste 🐘, and a rocket experiment 🚀, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Year 4 have had a fantastic first day at residential! They enjoyed exciting quarry activities, showed great teamwork, and did a brilliant job of keeping cool in the warm weather. Davidstow Class have been enjoying their new greenhouse. They have shown so much care while growing their own tomatoes, peas and strawberries from seed! 🌱🍅🍓🫛

The children have been learning about what plants need to survive and grow, as well as exploring the journey of food ‘From Farm to Plate’. Through planting, watering and caring for their crops, the children have developed a deeper understanding of where food comes from and the importance of looking after living things. Kernow Learning

Predannack & Tresco Class Trip to Geevor Tin Mine! ⛏️
A great day out exploring one of Cornwall’s most important heritage sites, learning about the county’s rich mining history and the lives of the miners who worked underground. The visit was great fun and informative, helping the children to understand how industry has shaped Cornwall’s landscape, communities, and economy over time.
