The Verwood Business Network is officially an award-winning initiative! We are incredibly proud to have taken home a trophy at the 2026 Verwood Business Awards. When Verwood Rotary established this network, we set out to create a unique space where business growth and community spirit go hand in hand. Winning in the B2B Business category reflects the dedication of the fantastic local businesses who join us at The Verwood Hub each month to support one another. This award belongs to all of you who grab a coffee, share your expertise, and make our local economy stronger

Our second Race Night in May was a great success with all the excitement of the horse races, having a flutter and a licensed bar to enjoy. Our thanks go to all who attended, our sponsors and all who supported club members to organise this event. We are delighted to confirm £1873 was raised to support club charities and projects. This includes our President’s charity The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. Club members have enjoyed fundraising to support this amazing service that saves lives every day and look forward to sharing the total raised for this charity at the end of this month.

Running the London Marathon is an extraordinary challenge, but doing it to support Home-Start Wessex and Friends of PICU makes every mile even more meaningful. Your strength, determination, and compassion will help give families the support they desperately need and provide life‑changing care for children in intensive care. Thank you for putting your heart into every step. You’re not just running a race—you’re lifting up the people who need it most, and that’s truly inspiring. Congratulations Bex Deverill, sponsored by Verwood Rotary, for reaching the finish line !
