What a fantastic start we’ve had to our new OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey!
This week has been filled with smiles, laughter, imagination and adventure as our children have embraced all the exciting new opportunities available at playtime. From building incredible creations and inventing imaginative games to performing, creating artwork, reading outdoors and making new friendships, it has been wonderful to see our playground come alive.
The excitement each morning as children head out to play has been infectious, and hearing them tell us, “Can we stay out a bit longer?” has been the biggest compliment of all!
Even more importantly, we’ve seen our school values shining through every day:

This is just the beginning of our OPAL journey and we can’t wait to continue developing our outdoor environment alongside our wonderful children and families.
A huge thank you to our amazing staff, our supportive families and, of course, our incredible children for making our first week such a success. We are so proud of how everyone has embraced this exciting new chapter.
