Heyford & Bicester Veterans Heyford and Bicester Veterans , for Advice Help and support , for Veterans and their Families . The group was set up by a local veteran.

Heyford & Bicester Veterans are a local support group for forces Veterans, reservists and their families living in and around the local area. The group meets in Upper Heyford community centre, on the First Friday of each month. At the meeting it’s a chance for local veterans can meet, come along to one of the meetings have a chat a brew and a catch up with friends. While at the meeting it’s a chan

ce for Veterans to get help filling out forms and applications get advice and confidential support from relevant service charities and organisations. Representative from the following organisations are often in attendance and can be contacted:

Military Funeral - Veterans Support
The family of the late Army Veteran Alan John Gillett, aged 93 years, have asked for support of Armed Forces Veterans to provide a military funeral. He completed National Service and then re-enlisted to serve an additional 22 years service.

The funeral will take place at Banbury Crematorium on Thursday 9th April at 1pm.

We will have our RBL Standard & buglers in attendance.

For those that are able to attend can you please show your support and wear blazers with military medals.
