What we are doing
Installation of a vehicle restraint barrier near the permanent drainage pond, requiring some devegetation. This will be followed by the relocation of utilities.

Notice of traffic lights and weekend road closure, Wormleighton Road, Wormleighton and Banbury Road Link Road nr Boddington.

Traffic lights: Tuesday 5 May to Friday 22 May 2026.
Weekend closure: 8pm Friday 5 June to 6am Monday 8 June 2026.

What we are doing
Under traffic lights, we will be building an access road to the railway onto Wormleighton Road, in Wormleighton.
Under a weekend road closure, we will be completing utility works in order to join Boddington Road to the temporary link road and restore connectivity to Claydon Village.

Routine maintenance and safety inspections
on the temporary bridge over the A361 near
Chipping Warden, for one night.
What to expect
• Our workforce in and near the road.
• Closure of a section of the A361 by the
temporary bridge.
• Night works, involving additional lighting
and some noise from use of machinery.

BPC STATEMENT TO THE PUBLIC APRIL 2026:

REMINDER: The Annual Parish Meeting for Boddington will be held tonight at 7:30pm in the Village Hall (Wednesday 22 April 2026).

The planning application for the change of use of The Carpenters Arms in Lower Boddington will be considered at the meeting. Residents’ comments will help inform the Parish Council’s formal response, which will be submitted following the next monthly meeting on Wednesday 13 May 2026.
