Being newly diagnosed with diabetes can feel overwhelming, and for some people, stigma or misconceptions can make it even harder to come to terms with.

It’s important to remember that you’re not alone, and there is support available every step of the way.

As part of your care, you’ll be invited for diabetic eye screening. This is a simple and important check to help detect any changes early and protect your sight.

At your appointment, you can expect:

• A quick vision check
• Eye drops to widen your pupils (this can make vision blurry for a short time)
• Photographs taken of the back of your eyes

The appointment usually takes around 30–45 minutes and won’t be painful.

Our team is here to make the process as clear and comfortable as possible, answer any questions, and support you in managing your eye health, without judgement.

It impacts people with all types of diabetes and arises from misconceptions about the causes, management, and realities of the condition. False...

It's official - we've been named as one of the Financial Times’ UK Best Employers 2026!

This nation-wide recognition is based on independent, large-scale employee feedback, with over 400,000 anonymous evaluations gathered across two years.

At the heart of this ranking is one (very) important question: would employees recommend their employer to others?

Our inclusion on this list is a powerful statement of InHealth's culture, which we are so proud of and, most importantly, our fabulous people.

We're absolutely chuffed to see InHealth recognised in this way - as a workplace where colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to grow every day.
