π Autumn has definitely arrived π
Itβs getting darker a little earlier every day. Leaves are starting to fall, and although the temperature seems reasonable, we are starting to see more rain βοΈ
π Reduced daylight can affect mood, sleep and sense of time. This is relevant to all our clients and particularly noticeable for those clients living with Dementia.
π Autumn weather can make getting out more difficult but a short walk on a bright day, spending time in the garden when itβs dry, or an outing to a local cafe, admiring the scenery on the way, can enhance wellbeing.
π Companionship at home is also increasingly important this time of year. Reminiscing and looking through photographs, listening to favourite music or enjoying a cup of tea together can provide meaningful moments and reduce feelings of loneliness. βοΈ
β€οΈ A little extra companionship can make a huge difference to our clients.
Regular companionship, with a trusted Home Help can help provide reassurance and reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation, particularly as the days become shorter. π π
If you or a loved one could benefit from a little extra companionship and support, to enhance everyday life, please feel free to get in touch.
