What a great first day back! It was wonderful to welcome so many children back to Ulcombe, and to meet so many new students! We have had a wonderful nurture based day of learning using the book "ish" to ease us back into the swing of things. Tomorrow we will finish off by creating some artwork you will be able to see in the entrance foyer to the school from next week!

🏰 Reminder – Whole School Trip to Leeds Castle Tomorrow!

A reminder that all children should be dropped directly at Leeds Castle for 10:00am, unless you have already arranged for them to travel on the school minibus.

Please ensure children wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear so they're ready to enjoy the day.

World Cup – Monday 6th July ‘26

Following England's win in the World Cup this week, we are conscious that some families will want to support our National team on Sunday night/Monday morning. Therefore we will extend the register opening until 10.30am - meaning that children can arrive between 8.30am and 10.30am and still get their attendance mark for the morning. The registers will close at 10.30am.

With today's soaring temperatures, we're especially grateful that we were able to enjoy our Sports Day last Friday before the heat arrived! ☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Our children had a fantastic afternoon of fun, teamwork and determination, and to top it all off, everyone had the chance to enjoy some absolutely delicious fresh strawberries, kindly donated by Rumwood Green Farm. 🍓❤️

A huge thank you for their generosity – the strawberries were a real treat and enjoyed by everyone. We are so grateful for your support in helping to make our Sports Day even more special!

On Friday we delivered 6 trays of strawberries to Ulcombe CE Primary School 🍓

🏃‍♀️🏅 Sports Day Tomorrow! 🏅🏃‍♂️

A reminder that Sports Day is taking place tomorrow, and parents are very welcome to join us from 1:15pm to cheer on the children.

Please ensure your child comes to school with:
☀️ A hat
🧴 Sun cream applied before school (and named if sending in for reapplication)
💧 A water bottle (or two!)
