We have a wide range of roles on our website, and one particular sector is that of Governance.

These tend to be general Trustee roles but include Finance specialists, Chairpersons, Fundraisers, even School Governors.

EVENTS PHOTOGRAPHER ROLE

Wealden Volunteering was founded over 30 years ago by the community for the community.

Our primary role is to match people wanting to volunteer with charities or community groups needing help.

We now seek a photographer to record our various events.

The events we both attend and host can vary including:
- formal awards evenings
- fundraisers such as our Volunteer Picnic
- a range of local events

NEW FUNDRAISING COORDINATOR ROLE

Another role with the Civil Aviation Trust.

They currently seek someone with experience in charity fundraising, as they look to fund the growth of their museum.

Part of the responsibilities will include:
- Helping with grant funding applications,
- Attracting patrons, and
- Gaining regular & steady income through various means.

The museum is located at Beside the Beaten Tracks, Cripps Corner, Robertsbridge TN32 5QR, so any applicant would need their own transport due to the relative remoteness.

NEW WEBSITE ROLE

The Civil Aviation Trust is a charity currently based at Beside the Beaten Tracks near Staplecross.

They now seek a Website Coordinator to update and maintain their site.

Once complete the site would only need updating from time to time, although any applicant would be very welcome to join the team and help out at the museum and any outside events if they wanted to.

A DBS check is not required for this role.

THANKS AGAIN!!

To volunteers everywhere, another Volunteers' Week has now ended.

We ourselves celebrated on Saturday with our Volunteer Picnic held at Heathfield Community Centre.

Despite the weather we were very pleased with the afternoon.

And thanks to everyone who braved the wind and rain, and of course the following:
