Sussex Support Service Our mission is to provide a menu of quality, support & activities for those living in Sussex.

Sussex Support Service aims to provide a good value, flexible person-centred & responsive support and activities for the whole community including those with extra care needs including people living with dementia, parkinsons, mental health issues a those who have become socially isolated and their carers. By providing a menu of activities that promote independence, and choice in a friendly comfortable settings where the community can come together meet with others to enjoy activites. We hope this will increase individuals feeling of general of wellbeing, feeling of being part of the community and through our respite services provide carers with a well earned break.

Our Festive Prize Draw is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, helping us raise vital funds for Victoria Pavilion Arts’ Arts for Wellbeing programme.

Through creativity, we bring people together, build confidence and support mental health and wellbeing for adults, children and young people in our community.

Local clubs and social groups offer wonderful opportunities to connect. At Sussex Support Service’s respite day care, we combine that friendship and enjoyment with professional care, giving family carers time to rest, work or catch up with everyday life.

In our welcoming, family-like atmosphere, we offer:

Qualified, medication and personal care trained care staff
Dementia-informed support
A fantastic range of entertainment, exercise and activities
A freshly cooked two-course meal
Accessible transport available
Support, information and signposting for families

Half-day and full-day sessions are available, with regular or occasional care and flexible support that adapts to your needs.

Another busy week ahead with music, movement, creativity, good food and friendly faces across our respite day services, community cafés and carers' support activities

Our welcoming, dementia-friendly day services offer stimulating activities, companionship and a valuable break for family carers.

FREE two-hour taster respite day care sessions available

OUR COMMUNITY CAFÉS – ALL WELCOME!

Our inclusive, dementia, disability and carer-friendly cafés offer activities, entertainment and a chance to meet others over a cuppa.

Refreshments included, £2.50 suggested donation. No need to book, just drop in

Supporting people living with dementia, Parkinson's and social isolation, our friendly team provides person-centred care in a welcoming environment.
