Dr Caroline Leek from Fruitfly Collective will be coming to the Cove at Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust to run a day for parents affected by cancer.
The day is free to attend and is being held on 9th July from 9.30am - 2.30pm. Topics include: talking to children, self-care, feelings and behaviour, emotional and behavioural changes in children, parenting with low energy, the art of parentinmg from the sofa, lots of tools to use at home, signposting for extra support and resources.

Truro City Council's bandstand concerts return this May to Victoria Gardens, starting on Sunday 3rd May 2026.

This much-loved annual programme will run throughout the summer, with performances taking place every Sunday until 27th September. Concerts will take place from 2.30pm - 4.00pm and are free to attend. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets for comfortable seating.

Belonging is the sense of acceptance people feel at work, at home and in the community.
The draft Belonging in Cornwall strategy is our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion over the next four years. It sets out our plans for a fair and inclusive Cornwall where everyone feels welcome and that they belong. It helps us meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010.
