The first homes built at Rowden Park are now complete, with more under construction.

The homes are being built to a high standard, with energy-efficient features including air source heat pumps, solar panels and electric vehicle charge points.

Progress continues, with more than 250 additional homes now delivered in communities across Wiltshire as part of our council house build programme.

Care doesn’t always have to happen in formal settings. It can happen in ordinary homes, where people can build relationships, feel part of a family and live as independently as possible.

Shared Lives supports a wide range of people, including those with a learning disability, care-experienced young people, individuals experiencing mental ill health, and older people.

Shared Lives Wiltshire will be out and about across Wiltshire during Shared Lives Week .

Come and chat to the team:

Mon 15 June – Chippenham High Street (9am–1pm)

Tue 16 June – Salisbury Library (9am–1pm)

Fri 19 June – Warminster Library (9am–1pm)

Pop by for an informal chat and find out what Shared Lives is all about

Big moments are better when they’re shared ⚽💛

As the World Cup kicks off, people across Wiltshire will be coming together - watching matches, cheering, and enjoying those shared moments.

For children in care, feeling part of something like this can make a huge difference. Sitting together, joining in, and simply feeling included can help build confidence, connection and a sense of belonging.

Foster carers help create those moments - not through big gestures, but by being there.

💛 Could you provide that sense of home?
