Post COVID pandemic, this event will no longer be held at Cockington Court.

Dear All,
As we are sure everyone has been following development throughout the Coronavisus crisis, you will be aware of the recent government guideline on relaxation of rules on gatherings.
Unfortunately it has come too late for us to lift the postponement of the event at Cockington Court scheduled for next weekend.
In addition, the safety measures we would need to employ to ensure appropriate social distancing measures at the event are simply not feasible for our club at the venue, which can get quite crowded around vehicles.
So it is with regret that we cannot see you next weekend, but hope to schedule the event for 2021, so watch this space for developments and look out for notices in due course.
Meanwhile stay safe and healthy.

Dear All,
Due to the Corona Crisis, the VMCC Dartmoor section will be following Govt, guidance on social distancing and avoidance of unnecessary travel - consequently a number of forthcoming events have been cancelled.
The Cockington event in July is some way off at present, but it is uncertain how long the crisis will last, so please watch this space for updates.
Hopefully normal service will be resumed at some time so

Only another 4 days to Cockington, some nice classics already lined up to be there and the weather forecast looks good, dry and not too hot, that will do nicely.

Greetings All,
Vintage Motorcycle Club Dartmoor Section are pleased to announce their annual gathering of classic motorcycles at Cockington Court 2019, will be on Sunday the 28th Of July 2019 - see events listing.
This year we will also welcome custom motorcycles to the gathering and Cockington Court have kindly agreed to provide on site catering, together with a small bar supplying ales, ciders and soft drinks.
The long range weather forecast for this summer is looking good so we're all looking forward to a fine and sunny day.

Hi folks, following the AGM on the 11th October, a new Committee for VMCC Dartmoor is now in post and will be planning events and timetables for the next 12 months. Details will be available on the website when finalised.
Meanwhile, can we appeal to visitors to our page to consider whether there is anything we can do via FB to enhance the information you receive re the Cockington Court event, or indeed enhance or complement the event itself
We would also appeal for suggestions for recruiting new members.

A great day at Cockington today and quite a few bikes turned up with many happy riders enjoying the sunshine and a pint on the green.
A nice variety of classics were there, with some lovely examples from BMW, BSA, Honda, Kawasaki, Matchless, Mondial, Morini, Moto Guzzi, Norton, Sunbeam, Triumph, Velocette.
The day was organised and run by the VMCC Dartmoor section, so a big vote of thanks to all their volunteers who put in their time for free and we hope those who attended enjoyed the day.

Only four days to go now, the weather even looks reasonable, so fingers crossed for a fantastic day to show off classic motorcycles, bring one along and have a day out.

Just a heads up that on Sunday 25th June the Torquay Seafront road will be closed, but other routes will be open as normal. A couple of maps attached, but also on our website, vmccdartmoor.com
