🐾Can you help Blue Cross Thirsk?🐾

We're reaching out to our wonderful supporters to see if anyone has a small worktop fridge they no longer need and would be willing to donate to our centre.

As a charity, we're always looking for ways to make every penny go further. A donated fridge would help us to save valuable funds that can instead be used directly on the care, welfare and rehabilitation of the pets who rely on us.

If you have a small fridge in good working order sitting unused, donating it could make a real difference to the animals in our care. Even if you can't help personally, sharing this post could help us find exactly what we need.

📢🐾Donation Appeal - Can you help?📢🐾

We're currently looking for donations of unscented, non-biological washing powder for use at our centre in Thirsk.
The washing powder is used to wash our pets' bedding, so it is important that it is non-biological and fragrance-free to help protect sensitive skin and noses.

If you're able to donate a box (or two), we would be incredibly grateful. If you are not able to get to the centre, but would still like to help, take a look at our Amazon wishlist and send it to the centre direct.

With temperatures forecast to reach 33 today, we’ll be closed to all walk ins. Our team will be focusing entirely on the comfort, safety, and welfare of the animals in our care, ensuring every pet stays cool, hydrated, and stress free during the extreme heat.

Happy home day Whisky!

This beautiful little girlie is on her way to her new home to enjoy wonderful adventures and make fantastic memories with her new Mum and Dad.

A massive THANK YOU from all the staff at Blue Cross Thirsk for all of the recent donations of cat food we have received.

Your ongoing help and support is vital to us as we receive no Government funding and rely on the generosity of our followers and supporters to help as many pets in need we can every year.

If you are able to make a donation of cat food to the centre on a regular basis, that would be fantastic and keep the centre going for a long time. If this is not possible, then a box (or two) when you can afford it will also make a massive difference to the cats we have in our care.
