It was a pleasure to open the community garden in East Peckham at their village fete last weekend.

Places like this are wonderful spaces for communities to gather. Thank you to all of the volunteers who have made it happen.

On a weekend like this, with the sun shining, I'm sure that the newly sown plots will be well attended by the local gardeners.

The new State Threats Bill was debated in Parliament this week, allowing foreign government bodies that threaten the UK to be designated and sanctioned.

Some companies are part of this web. China’s TikTok is controlled by a hostile state and influences our politics, causing division.

We need to update the law already.

In Parliament this morning I spoke with the Football Foundation about the all-weather pitch in Edenbridge.

I’m grateful for their help. We spoke about their funding options and I will be meeting them at the site soon.
