🚒 Congratulations FF Connelly! 🚒

All the crew would like to congratulate FF Connelly on successfully passing his Green Phase assessment and officially being deemed a Competent Firefighter. 👏🔥

A fantastic achievement after three years of hard work, commitment and dedication.

Well done from everyone at the station — thoroughly deserved! 🚒💪

Alongside emergency response, we’re proud to play an active role in our community. From safety events to station visits, we love giving local groups an insight into the fire service — and we’re looking forward to welcoming the local Girl Guides to the station soon.

Monday nights at Tillicoultry Fire Station are all about training, development and making sure our skills remain sharp and up to date. 🚒🔥

Over the last few Mondays the crew have been focusing on a variety of practical drills, teamwork exercises and operational training to ensure we remain ready to respond when our community needs us most.

Part of that training has also involved helping FF Connelly prepare for Green Phase and further develop the skills and confidence needed to become a fully competent firefighter.

Training never stops in the fire service and the effort the crew put in week after week behind the scenes is what helps keep our communities safe. 👏

Extreme wildfire warning for the whole of Scotland 🔥

There is an extreme risk of wildfire across the whole of Scotland from today until Saturday, 2 May.

We know many people across Scotland will be wanting to enjoy the good weather across the bank holiday weekend. We ask that everyone does so responsibly.

Wildfires have the potential to destroy property, landscapes and wildlife. All it takes is one spark to spread, causing a large amount of damage.

Remember, there’s no such thing as a 'harmless' fire.

🚒 Training Night at Tillicoultry Fire Station 🌊🔥
A fantastic effort from the crew tonight as they enhanced their local knowledge by identifying suitable water uplift points along the River Devon to support potential firefighting operations.

Using our latest equipment, the team deployed a powerful light portable pump to feed our main appliance, supplying a ground monitor capable of delivering up to 1,900 gallons per minute from our new Iveco fire appliance. 💪

Throughout the exercise, the crew operated using safe systems of work and appropriate water safety PPE, ensuring both effectiveness and safety at all times.

A really enjoyable and productive evening, putting key skills into practice — and not a bad view to go with it either! 🌄

Everyone please avoid the area and take alternative routes

Posted 4.45pm on Saturday, 25 April.

Crews are at the scene at a gas leak on the A908 between Fishcross and Tillicoutry, Alloa.

We advise people to stay away from the area. Nearby residents are advised to close windows and doors as a precautionary measure.

Two appliances are currently in attendance.
