Plenty of positives ✅ from our Thundersley Town Team Christmas Festival yesterday but one incident that we were really upset about. The collection tin 🥫 that our friends from Benfleet Rotary had left on the Sleigh 🦌🦌🦌🦌🛷 outside our Santa’s 🎅🏽 Grotto disappeared during the event and was found later, open, empty and discarded around the corner on Hart Road. We are really proud of the fab community spirit within our Village and will be making a donation ourselves to cover the loss to Rotary but if you would like to join us in supporting the Rotarians with a donation yourself to show the strength of community here please drop it into either Sarah Ellis at Robert Michael or Simon Foxen.

Kristina Hall asks Thundersley Village readers “Not sure where else to post this but i went for a walk along shipwrights drive in benfleet and somehwere between the bottom by kiln road all the way round circling king john school back to kiln road my daughter dropped her taggy blanket. I walked all the way back round again but its gone! Its white one side and light pink the other whith pink taggy's and her name embroided on the white side in purple (Poppy). If anyone has seen it or could point me to where i can share this post i would be very grareful! Its a small square blanket. She's had it since she was born so really desperate to find it! Thank you!”

HELP HELP HELP PLEASE!!!
Castle Point residents in particular, please consider objecting to the proposal to build a three storey block of 24 flats on the corner of my lovely quiet GREENBELT road! It's a truly awful design, totally out of keeping with the area, far too big for the size of the plot, insufficient parking, the list goes on. I could cry.
